The Hair Kid, a youtube musician who has been getting some attention on toomanysebastians.net. Ok he does look like Kid Rock and remix Korean/Japanese pop songs, but he somehow makes it work. He makes some of the funkiest disco-synth grooves since Moulinex and adds his own raps over the top of the track. While i'm not too fussed on his raps, you can't deny his obvious talent. Here is a live video of him remixing 'You're Out' by Korean female pop group Wonder Girls.

wonder girls are korean. they made the song that woke me up every morning at 9am for a month in the summer holidays......i fucking hate them.

ReplyDeleteyeah one of their songs was big in the phils for a bit and my dad would play it every morning on youtube. he sets the volume as high as i do when there's nobody else in the house, except he does it when i'm at home. sleeping.
