February 7, 1974 - the day one of my favourite producers of all time was born. And then another one.
Today marks what should be the 37th birthday of both J Dilla and Nujabes, musicians whose similarities stretch far beyond the shared birthday. Both have blessed the world with the smoothest, most laid back beats in hip hop history (which I absolutely live for, just btw). Both worked extremely hard yet remained enigmatic amongst their fame. Both had their lives tragically cut short.
I guess I just wanted to show them a bit of love on here today.
